BAJA MEXICAN
This is an honest Baja Mexican restaurant where you’ll find no Portuguese-Mex cliches — only wholly authentic-tasting tacos, ice-cold beers, spicy mango margaritas and a simple but modern Boho setting where banter and good vibes are guaranteed to gush.
Pull up a seat. Kick back. This is where we unwind and indulge. It’s that stepping-off-the-plane-in-a-foreign-country vibe, it’s the weight of a margarita in hand, it’s that Portuguese sea breeze.

The Backyard is adamant about keeping our food offering small and delicious — no dishes acting as purely menu fillers here. You’ll have a straightforward choice of six tacos: Baja Pecado, Cajun Camaron, Baja Pollo, Coliflor and Asada Mushroom. All of these delights come on pillowy corn-based tortillas — meaning zero gluten for you, compadre! Running alongside this will be an ever-evolving fresh and unfused Pequeno menu including Loaded Fries, Al Pastor Mushroom Quesadilla, Quesadilla Estilo Fajita, Guacamole, Mexican Hummus and Nachos that the team are excited for you to share amongst friends.

In the space, there’s a covered bench dining area for friends & couples, and an outdoor poolside sun lounger area for those who want to chat whilst they sip cocktails, munch tacos and take in the tropical vibes. While The Backyard might not be a dusty cactus-filled garden in Mexico, the tropical pool vibes and dedication to flavour more than make up for this fact!

The central meeting point to start your day or nightly adventures; the perfect place to meet fellow yogis from all over the world. Here you can enjoy the panoramic views with light background music, read a book whilst catching some sun in one of our sun loungers or just relax with a nice glass of chilled goodness. The rooftop terrace really comes into its own every sunset, where you can relax with new friends after long day of yoga & surf. Each morning and evening we gather all our guests together to socialise over a good meal and some delicious drinks.
