Supertubos Beach, located close by to The Salty Pelican, is renowned for its world-class waves and is a popular destination for surfers from around the globe. The beach is known for its hollow waves, making it an ideal spot for intermediate to advanced surfers looking for a challenging ride. The waves at Supertubos are consistently good, with the beach offering both left and right-hand breaks. The beach is also a popular location for surfing competitions, including the Rip Curl Pro Portugal, which is part of the World Surf League Championship Tour. Supertubos Beach is also a great place to relax and enjoy the golden sands and clear blue waters. The beach is easily accessible by car, taxi or 1hr walk. There are also several cafes and restaurants on the beach to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a drink after a day of surfing.

Baleal Beach is divided into several smaller beaches, each offering its own unique charm. The main beach, known as Praia do Baleal. Other beaches in the area include Praia da Lagide, Praia do Cerro, and Praia da Almagreira. Baleal Beach is also a great place for swimming, sunbathing, and beach volleyball. There are several cafes and restaurants right on the beach where visitors can grab a bite to eat or enjoy a nice refreshing cocktail. We really have located opposite the best beach in the area.
